interzum 2019
interzum 2019 featured the most important trends in future living spaces using modern materials, outstanding design and exclusive innovations. Over four full days, 1,805 exhibitors from 60 countries displayed the technical, haptic and visual refinements shaping the furniture of the fu-ture. A total 74,000 visitors were in attendance, with over 55,000 coming from outside Germany.
Hettich New Product Announcements
As an exhibitor, Hettich presented a host of new products to an array of creative professionals, manufacturers, architects and designers. Among the new products to be launched in 2020 are the new drawer platform AvanTech You and the popular TopLine M, TopLine L and TopLine XL.
Traveling as a Group with CKCA and AFDICQ:
This year, from May 23 to May 31, Hettich Canada also had the chance to travel to Germany in partnership with the Canadian Kitchen and Bath Association (CKCA) and the Association des fabricants et détaillants de l'industrie de la cuisine du Québec (AFDICQ). In total, more than 50 partners joined us on this trip. The trip spanned nine days, with members spending 1.5 days at interzum and 2.5 days at LIGNA, the world's leading trade fair for woodworking and machinery and tools for wood processing plants. The group also spent one day at Hettich's Head Office and production facilities, took part in a guided tour at Venjakob and HOMAG’s state-of-the art manufacturing facilities and visited Nobilia's showroom, one of the biggest European kitchen manufacturers.
There was more than professional development on the agenda, however. The group celebrated at the Hettich interzum party at DockOne in Cologne, and enjoyed a Volkswagen plant tour, team dinners, guided city tours and freetime in some of Germany's most iconic attractions in the city of Hamelin.
Hettich wants to thank all our association partners, colleagues at Hettich Canada and Hettich Germany for helping make such a memorable and educational trip possible. We are looking forward to interzum 2021 and hope even more members come out and join the experience.
